Digital Marketing Intern at National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre

I got the opportunity to work on a nationwide campaign called SG Cares Giving Week. It takes place annually on the first week of December to promote the spirit of giving back. I completed many tasks such as creating graphics, drafting content briefs, liaising with media agencies, reaching out to partners and more.

Social Media Manager for Radio Heatwave

Oct 2022 to Feb 2023

I was the social media manager for Radio Heatwave (RHW), Ngee Ann's campus radio. It is the most established campus radio in Singapore. In the picture, I am with the management team and our alumni, Sonia Chew, and her DJ partner, Joakim Gomez. Managing the Radio Heatwave socials challenged my creativity and improved my proficiency in Photoshop as I got to try new styles. The social media team increased RHW's Instagram by 500 followers which was a great accomplishment!

Digital Content Intern for HalalTrip & CrescentRating

I managed both the HalalTrip and CrescentRating social media accounts during my five-month internship. I designed web banners, social media collaterals, did up weekly newsletters, attended media invites and liased with KOLs. It was a fun and challenging experience managing two brands with different demographics. I had many fruitful takeaways about the media industry.

FMS Agent (Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Open House tour)

I did tours for Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Open House where I had to liase with parents and students. This also developed my people skills as I learnt how to be persuasive with people of all ages and work in a big team to pull off an event.

SCAPE's ELEVATE Event Production Mentorship

This is an event planning & marketing mentorship SCAPE organised. This enabled me to get industry experience such as planning & marketing an event, crafting proposals for sponsors, managing social media campaigns, planning logistics and more. This experience helped me learn more about the industry and what it takes to pull off a live event.

Presenter at Radio Heatwave

I auditioned and got into Radio Heatwave, Ngee Ann's campus radio. This experience has highlighted the importance of teamwork as I had a partner for all my shows and the importance of a good dynamic. This experience also gave me more confidence in presenting & I learnt proper interview etiquette.
